Dan Coleman to Present 'Fresh-Squeezed Ideas' at Sept. 17 IABC Cleveland Luncheon

CLEVELAND, Aug. 21 // -- IABC Cleveland kicks off its 2009-2010 programming year on Sept. 17, 2009, with "Fresh-Squeezed Ideas: Creative Thinking for Communications Pros," featuring Dan Coleman, founder and president of Excelsior Learning and author of Bursts of Fresh-Squeezed Ideas. Coleman will provide tips to enhance creative thinking skills on the job. The event takes place at the Forum Conference Center, One Cleveland Center, 1375 E. 9th St., Cleveland, with networking and registration beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the program from noon to 1:30 p.m.

The cost is $30 for IABC members, $40 for non-members. New this year is a special $10 rate for IABC members who are currently in transition between professional employment opportunities. Coleman will provide tips to enhance creative thinking skills on the job by using creative problem solving methods, various creative thinking styles, and case studies featuring companies/organizations that have had successful breakthroughs because of their approach to creative thinking. Coleman consistently wins praise from clients for his knowledgeable and energizing use of fresh content, practical tools and experiential learning methods. Prior to starting Excelsior Learning (based in Hudson, Ohio), Coleman led national sales teams for both AT&T and American Greetings and was an Accenture senior manager.
