Concept, Inc. Hires Birmingham Advertising Federation's 2009 'Art Director of the Year'

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Aug. 20 // -- Concept Inc. President Susie Kelley announced today that Concept, Inc. has hired Joel Wheat as Creative Director for the agency. Kelley said, "We are excited to have Joel join our team. With his experience and creative talent, we feel that Joel will play a crucial role in helping us become a creatively led company."
Along with being named Birmingham Advertising Federation's 2009 "Art Director of the Year," Wheat was just featured in the 2010 Graphis Poster Annual (international) for his work with Bottletree Cafe. He was also honored at the AIGA SEED awards (South Eastern Excellence in Design) in Atlanta on July 18, 2009. "I am extremely excited about being a part of this transition. We aren't trying to build an agency, we're giving birth to ideas - our clients will appreciate that difference."
