infrastructure software for the enterprise, today announced that Verdasys,
Inc., a leading supplier of enterprise information protection (EIP)
solutions, has renewed its OEM agreement with Autonomy to extend their

servers across the extended enterprise for data at rest, in use, and in

deployed by over 100 customers and to more than 300,000 users worldwide,
including several very large implementations with government institutions in
both the US and abroad.

the rich capabilities of the Autonomy IDOL engine, which include powerful
language support and highly accurate detection capabilities," said
Birnbaum
combined to create the most differentiated and comprehensive solution in the

across multiple industry verticals and geographies."
"We are proud to help Verdasys deliver such a strong and comprehensive
product to the EIP market," said Stouffer Egan, Chief Executive Officer,
Autonomy Inc. U.S. "The rapid uptake of the product is a result of the
innovative design of the Verdasys Digital Guardian architecture and the power

our very successful relationship with Verdasys as we deliver innovations that
meet the evolving needs of the data loss prevention market."
